• A database for operational risk managements composed of collected information on losses resulting from inadequate or failed internal processes, people and systems or from external events.
• Referring to losses of other financial institutions enables the user banks to judge the profile of their operational risks and to take suitable measures.
• Since each financial institution bring along the data, a large amount of operational risk exposures which can not be singly-provided are collected. With this database, financial institutions will be able to clarify potential-risks that have not become obvious, and the data may also be used for operational risk measurements concerning Basel II .
