LGD Database
- RDB operates a pool data covering loan-recovery information of defaulted obligors, collected twice a year from member banks throughout Japan.
- It is used widely as the only database ever in Japan that enables to work out recovery rate and LGD (Loss Given at Default) of obliges and obligors separately.
- There is a sufficient quantity of data: 45,000 all data since 2006, for statistical analysis (May 2012 present).
- This is a membership service only for financial institutions that can continually provide data of their own obligors' loan information in prescribed format rules.
- All the information is anonymous, and the database cannot identify an individual company name.
